Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an EcoDiligence account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms apply to all users, including those on the Free tier.

2. The service

EcoDiligence provides software for creating and sharing ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) data profiles for businesses. The platform is offered “as is” and we may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

3. Your account

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• All activity that occurs under your account.
• Providing accurate information when registering.
• Notifying us promptly of any unauthorized access.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Submit false or misleading ESG data with intent to deceive third parties.
• Use the platform to violate any law, regulation, or third-party right.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to bypass security mechanisms.
• Resell or sublicense access to EcoDiligence without written consent.
• Upload content that infringes intellectual property or contains malware.

5. Your content

You retain all rights to the ESG data and content you submit. You grant EcoDiligence a limited license to host, process, and display your content solely to operate the service. When you publish a public ESG Passport, you authorize EcoDiligence to make that passport accessible at its public URL.

6. Intellectual property

The EcoDiligence platform, including its software, design, branding, and documentation, is owned by EcoDiligence and protected by copyright and trademark laws. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the platform for its intended purpose.

7. Refund & Cancellation Policy

All payments are processed by our authorized reseller, Paddle.com, who also acts as the Merchant of Record for all purchases. **30-Day Money-Back Guarantee.** If you are not satisfied with your Pro subscription, you may request a full refund within 30 days of your initial purchase by contacting support@ecodiligence.com. No questions asked. **Cancellation.** You may cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain full access to Pro features until then. **After 30 days.** Subscriptions are non-refundable after the 30-day guarantee period, unless required by applicable law. **Monthly plans.** Monthly subscribers may cancel at any time. No refunds for partial months.

8. Disclaimers

EcoDiligence is not an audit firm. ESG Passports are self-reported by the organization that creates them. The platform provides plausibility checks but does not verify the accuracy of submitted data. EcoDiligence is not a substitute for professional legal, accounting, or sustainability advice.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EcoDiligence and its affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunity, arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

10. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it from your dashboard. We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these terms, with reasonable notice except in cases of egregious abuse. Upon termination, your data is deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the platform shall be resolved in the competent courts of Tel Aviv, Israel.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be announced via email and reflected by the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
